Department of Energy hearing judges
Two things to keep in mind about these numbers
These are hearing decisions only. The Energy Department resolves many cases without a hearing. What is here is the set that reached a hearing and produced a published decision, so it does not describe how the Energy Department decides cases overall.
A favorable decision is not the final word. In the Energy Department process a decision in the individual's favor can still be appealed by the agency, so a favorable result here is what the judge decided, not necessarily the settled outcome.

These counts cover Department of Energy cases alone. They are never added to the DOHA record and they are not comparable with the DOHA Administrative Judges, who work under a different process and a different rulebook.

- † marks figures based on fewer than 20 decisions with a clear result. Below that, the counts are printed instead of a percentage.
- Hovering any rate shows its statistical range (a 95% confidence interval).
- Every figure here counts published Department of Energy hearing decisions alone. No figure on this site combines them with the DOHA record.
