Custom reports
Tell us the question you need answered, or the data you need built into a report, and we build it from the decided record. The same price as the detailed report, $160.
Built from the public record, and only from it
30,316 decided public DOHA decisions, through July 2026, with the original documents preserved. Every figure in a report states the number it is drawn from, and every decision it rests on is linked so you can read it yourself. If the record cannot answer what you asked, we tell you that before you pay, not after.
What people ask for
These are examples, not a menu. If your question is not here, it is still worth asking.
One concern, in depth
A single guideline, or one issue inside it, worked through the whole decided record rather than summarized.
- Unpaid federal taxes: how the decided cases came out, what separated them, and what judges credited
- Marijuana use in the recent decided cases, compared with a decade earlier
- Falsification allegations that were withdrawn or not sustained, and what the records had in common
- Foreign family ties by country, with the count behind every figure
A person or an office
The published record of the people who decide and argue these cases. Descriptive only: what has happened, never what will.
- One judge across their whole published record, by concern and by outcome
- A Department Counsel and how the cases they appeared in were decided
- How represented, unrepresented, and personally represented applicants fared in comparable matters
Change over time
The record runs from November 1996 to the present, which is long enough to show movement rather than a snapshot.
- An issue traced across twenty years, with the turning points identified
- What changed after a rule change, an amendment, or a shift in guidance
- Appeal outcomes: what the Appeal Board has actually done with a given kind of case
- Measured timelines: how long the steps have taken, and whether that has moved
Your own situation, mapped
The same work as the detailed report, aimed wherever you need it rather than at a standard outline.
- The decided cases whose allegations most closely resemble yours, and how they came out
- What the favorable decisions had that the unfavorable ones did not
- Where your facts sit against comparable cases on amounts, timing, and how long ago the conduct was
How it goes
Describe what you need
In your own words, on the CASE Prep form. Attach documents if they are part of the question. You do not need to know what the report should contain; describing the question is enough.
We tell you what the record can do
Before any work starts, and before you are charged, we say what the record can and cannot answer, and what the report will actually contain. If the honest answer is that the record will not support what you want, we say so and there is no charge.
We build it
A person does the work and a person checks it. Generally under five days, and sooner where the question is narrow.
You get the report
Written for reading and for printing, with every decision linked and every figure carrying the number behind it, so anyone who questions a line can go and check it.
Ask for one
Custom reports go through the same form as everything else. Write the report you want in the question box, choose the detailed report when you send it, and we take it from there.
Describe the report you needNothing is charged until you have seen what you are buying, and sending the question costs nothing either way.
This is research, not legal counsel. A report describes what the decided public record shows. It does not predict how a case will come out, state anyone’s chances, recommend a course of action, or take the place of an attorney. Where a report compares groups, for example represented against unrepresented applicants, it reports what the record shows about those groups and not a cause. See the Terms and the Disclaimers.
Not what you needed?
This is about my own case
Send us your question, or the Statement of Reasons you received. No charge, and a CASE analyst reads it. Usually five to ten business days.
